After arriving in Israel and meeting our guide and our
medic/guard we set off to Latrun for breakfast.
We then went to Mini Israel, where the group had fun visiting many of the sites, in miniature form, that we are going to be going to over the next 3 ½ weeks. From Mini Israel, we got back on the coach and went to Mevaseret Mall for "Pizur lunch" where we were each given money to spend in a restaurant of our choice. The Kosher Mcdonalds was a a favourite.
We then went to settle in and rest at our first base, the Ein Tzurim Guest House Kibbutz where we will be staying three nights. We had dinner and then orientation with some icebreakers and team bonding activities. Considering the night-flight and busy day, we had an early night to re-energize in preparation for everything to come!
